AMPERE Project Team Members Showcase Expertise at the 18th Workshop on Virtualization in High-Performance Cloud Computing
The AMPERE project made a significant impact at the 18th Workshop on Virtualization in High-Performance Cloud Computing, held in conjunction with the ISC 2023 High Performance Computing Conference in Hamburg.
AMPERE partner Tommaso Cucinotta, an Associate Professor at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, was one of the key speakers at the event. He delivered an insightful talk on "Virtualization and Power Optimization of Embedded HPC Applications in AMPERE", showcasing the project's innovative work in this area.
The workshop also featured a diverse range of speakers from various institutions and companies. Among them were Michael Alexander, a Scientific Computing Specialist from IST Austria, and Anastassios Nanos, Director at Nubificus. Sébastien Rumley, an Associate Professor at Institut iCoSys - HEIA-FR, and Fotis Nikolaidis, a Systems Researcher at FORTH-ICS, also shared their expertise during the event.
The AMPERE project's sponsorship and active participation in the workshop underscore its commitment to fostering discussion, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge in the field of virtualization in high-performance cloud computing.
