Björn Forsberg, Doctorate at D- ITET at ETH Zürich, presented a paper on 16 June 2020 online at LCTES 2020. The paper titled "A Synergistic Approach to Predictable Compilation and Scheduling on Commodity Multi-Cores" is presented as part of Session 4: Predictability on Tuesday, 16 June 2020. It focuses on synergistic methodology for PREM (Predictable Execution Model) complication and scheduling, based on a novel PREM Optimizer.

The 21st ACM SIGPLAN/SIGBED International Conference on Languages, Compilers, and Tools for Embedded Systems (LCTES 2020) provides a link between the programming languages and embedded systems engineering communities and it is intended to expose researchers and developers from either area to relevant work and interesting problems in the other area and provide a forum where they can interact.

The paper and presentation, given in this opportunity, provided a perspective on key problems, observations, contributions, and results pertaining to improvement in response time and benchmarks, based on a novel PREM Optimizer.
